Welsh Open Review for Life and Development

A day of debate, workshops and informative lectures on Sustainability, Humanitarian Relief and International Development. Supported by the Welsh Assembly Government, this will be a conference to give a broad look into World issues.

The day will be split into running themes as decribed above. Each theme will have an introductory lecture given by an experienced professional, then there will be examples of peoples personal experience  after which there will be a critical review of the relevant theme. All of this will lead into open discussions and finally culminate with a debate hosted by the Cardiff Uni Debating Society.

Along side this there will be a workshop held by Engineers for Overseas Development which will demonstrate the difficulty of designing a project remotely and then implementing it locally. As well as stalls showing the work that organisations in Cardiff are doing to improve the world both locally and globally.
