Listen as Jo explains how she became inspired by Engineers Without Borders UK and is now the founder of architecture charity AzuKo.
Whilst studying Architecture, Jo found the projects she was working on weren’t fulfilling her interest in social impact, and so began exploring the international development sector. She applied for an international placement with Engineers Without Borders UK and was inspired by the work she was involved in whilst based in Bangladesh. Today, she is the founder and director of charity AzuKo, where she works with the same local partner.
