We are looking for two passionate members of our community to join the Board of Trustees at Engineers Without Borders UK!
Our trustees play a critical role in ensuring strong governance and providing strategic guidance to our growing staff team. Beyond the standard responsibilities of a trustee, elected trustees are uniquely positioned to represent the voting members of Engineers Without Borders UK, championing their voices and helping to drive forward our movement. We are looking for individuals who are deeply committed to our vision of transforming how engineering is taught and practised.
Eligibility
To ensure that our Board of Trustees truly reflect the voices of our community, these positions are filled through an election by the voting members of Engineers Without Borders UK. Online voting will open from Monday 16 December, with the successful candidates announced at our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 14 January 2025.
Before nominating yourself, please make sure you are eligible to stand for election:
- You must be 18 years or over.
- You must be a voting member of Engineers Without Borders UK. You can register as a voting member here.
- You must have endorsements from two voting members, who we will contact to confirm they support your candidacy.
Nominations will close at 23:59 GMT on Sunday 8 December 2024.
